    Who does it apply to?

    An application for granting this temporary residence can be submitted if the purpose of the foreigner's stay in Poland is work conducted by a foreigner posted by a foreign employer to the territory of the Republic of Poland.

    The condition for granting permit is to have a work permit within the meaning of the Act of 20 April 2004 on employment promotion and labour market institutions, or a written statement of the employer of his intention to entrust work to the foreigner, if the work permit is not required.

    Additional documents

    The foreigner is obliged to submit:

    • documents confirming possessing a health insurance or coverage by the insurer of the   cost of medical or ambulatory treatment in Poland (e.g. ZUS – Polish Social Insurance Institution - certificate, other insurance policy  - for instance: ZUS RCA report signed by an authorised person)
    • documents confirming possessing having a stable and regular source of income sufficient to cover the costs of living for yourself and your family members dependent on you (e.g. employment contract, income and salary statement),
    • documents confirming that you have got a permanent dwelling place (e.g. permanent residence certificate, residence lease agreement, residence lending contract, any other agreement giving you the rights to housing premises or someone else’s declaration to provide you a permanent dwelling place in Poland),
    • a work permit within the meaning of the Act of 20 April 2004 on employment promotion and labour market institutions, or a written statement of the employer of his intention to entrust work to the foreigner, if the work permit is not required.
