An application for granting temporary residence permit for family members of Polish citizens can be granted to a foreigner who is married to a Polish citizen or to a foreigner who is a minor child of a foreigner married to a Polish citizen and having a temporary residence permit for family member of a Polish citizen
You are obliged to submit:
if you are married to a Polish citizen:
- a valid copy of your marriage certificate with a Polish citizen issued not earlier than 3 months before the application;
- a photocopy of the identity card or the passport of the spouse (the original available for inspection);
if you are a minor child of a foreigner who is married to a Polish citizen and this marriage is recognized by Polish law and you have a temporary residence permit for a family member of a Polish citizen:
- birth certificate;
- your parent’s residence card photocopy (the original available for inspection);
next temporary residence permit may also be granted in case of separation, divorce, widowhood or death of the minor's child's parent provided there is a valid foreigner’s interest – i.e. a valid divorce decree or a divorce or death certificate.
